You realize that a few years ago a poll of school children showed that Jesus wasn't even in the top ten for the most important people in their lives, J.K. Rowling placed ahead.

I personally am not religious, and in fact am atheist (don't hold it against me) but that's just really sad. If memory serves Santa was in the top ten too.
this was elementary school kids.
I'm about halfway through Fountainhead, and having read Atlas Shrugged I don't understand why she didn't get as big a following as JKR of Stroud or say Steinbeck.

Than again, another poll said that Atlas Shrugged placed second in the most life-changing book ever read, behind (big surprise) the Bible.

Eh. Authors are the poets of our time, it's too bad they are overshadowed by such mediocre things as celebrities...
Alba's hot n all, but it's still sad.
You expect 5 year olds to care about Jesus?

I s'pose it depends on what school they got to, public or private.

My four-year-old nephew, up until very recently, thought it was pronounced, "Cheeseus."

To my knowledge, there are barely a handful of active Americans here.

Slowly but surely, the Spamzone is creeping it's tentacles around this thread, preparing to drag it down to its dark grave.

Sounds more like conquering than real union to me. Cool. Bend over Lucy!
