Clear your diaries, folks - Jonathan Stroud will be live chatting on the site between 7pm and 8pm UK time (UTC+1) on Saturday 5th of October. We're hoping this time should allow as many of you as possible to attend.

His new book, Lockwood & Co: The Screaming Staircase, is out in the UK and will be out in the US and Canada on the 17th September (though it looks like the Kindle version might already be available?). You should all read it if you haven't already!

According to Amazon it's November 7th over here. Hmmm... But the Chapters website only has a date for the audiobook - September 24th. Oh whatever.

Ohhh, if you search "The Screaming Staircase" you get the 17th date, when you search "Lockwood and Co" you get November 7th. That makes exactly no sense but whatever Amazon. It seems I'll have to buy used from the UK though because the cover is prettier and I am shallow.

I haven't officially confirmed, but as far as I'm concerned, you can ask questions on whatever subjects you wish. I'd like to see some variety though - let's not just bombard him with Bartimaeus questions (this is the Lockwood tour, after all), and do check the QTTA forum for things that have already been asked. Obviously, Stroud will have discretion to answer interesting questions first...
