Dear All,
When I introduced myself, someone asked me whether I could perceive his/her envy emanating from the screen*. I am afraid this message may trigger some more envy**, nevertheless I decided to share some of the pictures I took in Mantua with you.
I do not know how to add images to posts in this forum, therefore I will just give you links to another site.
The first picture:

Shows Jonathan Stroud wearing a pirate hat. He wore it as he spoke about "Treasure Island".

This is a drawing he made during a speech. Incidentally, he makes lovely drawings, I wish they would issue a special edition of the Trilogy with his illustrations... This is the stereotypical image of a wizard, which he destroyed in Bartimaeus.
Picture 3:

This is Nathaniel's first summoning of Barti.
Pictures 4 & 5:

You may recognize one of the two guys in these. If you're very smart, you might imagine who the other one is.
Pictures 6 & 7:

These are my copies of his books. Now enriched and, to me, extremely precious.
I have more, but that should be enough for now. Plus I still have to unpack one case, be patient.

*I wrote "his/her" because I don't remember if it was a guy or a girl. I'm not suggesting that this person is a hermaphrodite.
**But I will gladly run the risk.
