Hey, he wasn't nearly as bad as I thought he'd be, but he's hardly anything special.Sentynel wrote:Oh, put a sock in it, hater, he is.David Cat wrote::blink:Sentynel wrote:And the new Doctor is AWESOME.

There could be other ways for them to get close than for Barty to get killed...wrote: If only Bartimaeus was killed by the heron foliots and John's magic sensor didn't go off while he was escorting Jane home....
Yes, yes he is. As evidence, I shall quote a brief conversation between myself and someone with vastly better judgement than you:David Cat wrote:Hey, he wasn't nearly as bad as I thought he'd be, but he's hardly anything special.

For all that I'm not a fan of J/J (and, y'know, shipping in general...), your art continues to impress.Cathy wrote:<picture>
If Bartimaeus died, Jane wouldn't have accused John of having "little friends" instead of demon slaves. So she wouldn't have stormed off, and they might have had a great time in her shiny black magician limo...*sigh* If John showed any mercy for djinn, Jane'd lose respect for him and they probably wouldn't ever get friendly again. :(nathanielandbartimaeus wrote:There could be other ways for them to get close than for Barty to get killed...

It must be because we're right.nathanielandbartimaeus wrote:How come you and Jen have such frighteningly similar likings? It is scary =p.
Read it! It's awesome.Cathy wrote:I haven't read Phoenix Requiem, but I have seen some of the character sheets in artsangel's gallery. I do like her painting techniques.
Haha. Don't we all wish?Sentynel wrote:It must be because we're right.nathanielandbartimaeus wrote:How come you and Jen have such frighteningly similar likings? It is scary =p.
Yeah, JohnxJane probably isn't too realistic...but it's fun to think about. If Nat never got a conscience, I'd imagine they'd be like Mr. and Mrs. Smith. =D In some ways, John's as bad as Jane, but that was before he met Ms Lutyens....nathanielandbartimaeus wrote:And Cathy, John-Jane would never have worked. 'Cause Nathaniel would soon have seen Jane's real nature and he wouldn't have liked it. As he isn't like that. But your drawings about them are really cool. Kitty could never have managed to look that sexy.

Not even Jen can be right about everything -_-Sentynel wrote:Yes, yes he is. Oh okay, I see your point. Personally I'm terrible with hair.Cathy wrote:In reality, long hair on guys tends to look really ridiculous; not many can pull it off right. But from an artistic point of view, long hair is super duper awesometastic. Hair is always a pleasure to draw for me, and there's so many ways you can style it.
Opinions are all you have to go on for anything as subjective as TV or other entertainment media. I mean, before you watch something in the cinema you'll probably read reviews or check review scores, but it's all just opinion.FuzzyLobster wrote:She has a point. Also, opinions are not "evidence", btw.
I highly concur with this.Sentynel wrote:Besides, David has a long, long history of being immediately and annoyingly negative about things for no particular reason.

It is when everyone else I've spoken to has had opinions from "good" to "brilliant".David Cat wrote:Five examples. Now.Nero wrote:I highly concur with this.Sentynel wrote:Besides, David has a long, long history of being immediately and annoyingly negative about things for no particular reason.
Also, saying he's nothing special is hardly very negative.

Anyway, examples:
BSG.
House.
Human Target.
Iron Maiden.
Electric Eye.
These are just the most obvious examples I thought of quickly. All of the above you've been all "omg sucks" and then ended up being all "omg awesome".
