Jasper Fforde

Book Discussion
Seeing as the last topic dissapeared. Does anybody apart from Fuzzylobster (who it appears is my subconscious) read Jasper Ffrode
Run, run as fast as you can...
:D

Finally, I've found someone who's heard of him. I was beginning to think he was a figment of my imagination.

I've read all the Nursery books, but I've only read two from Thursday Next.

Nope, sorry, never heard of him. Is he a good writer?
No Nero, he's not a good writer. Because, you know, all we've had to say about him in this thread is that he sucks... :P

Seriously, he's weird, but a good author. His books are very original.

Fine, don't have to be so cruel... :P
But look at Eragon; I'll say it's somewhat exciting with horrible prose and characters and...oh hell, everything else.
Eragon? < Meaning, why did you use that as an example.
V Talking about Fforde
Well, his prose isn't exactly excellent, I'll grant you. But his ideas and the plot is what makes it funny.

I have read all his books ( :spock: )
Run, run as fast as you can...
:X

Realizing of course, that most of it is copied straight from other people.

You can get sued for that, you know. It's called plagarism.
