Jane Farrar #2

General Discussion

Do you think Jane Farrar survived?

1). Yes, she's hiding in some cardboard box
2). No, she got so owned by the hybrids
3). Don't know, don't care, Jane sucks.

Do you think Jane had the flamboyant style?

Not really.
She strikes me as one who works behind the scenes until she find the chance to be in charge, or finds that she prefers to be in the shadows, controlling from there.

Yes, Dumbly and Luna are cool. I'm not saying an awesome character has to be a sociopath, but in Bella's case she knew how to work it.

i reckon farrar was involved with the golem in bk 2, so i hope she got swallowed.

Nah.
I think she was aware of it, but it was working to her advantage, so kept quite about it.
I think Hopkins and Duval were alone in that one.

That makes sense. I never considered Jane might have had prior info about the Golem. Or was it mentioned in the book? Jane tries to stop Nat from going to inquire about it, right?
*Anyway, another reason to hate Jane*

Actually, all she's done is sent by Duval to learn, nothing more,
She was actually sent to see what he was doing for Duval, just she wasn't aware Duval was using her.

She would have had an idea of what was going on . . . just kept quiet because it suited her best interests.

I think she turned a blind eye to it, but i don't think she fully understood the scale of involvement Duval had.

1) It's Duvall, not Duval.

2) I don't understand how Farrar and Duvall seem to be quite different... isn't Farrar Duvall's apprentice?

1) Datsyuk's annoyingly careless like that (yes his nickname is after the amazing hockey player because Dansariki hates it)

2) Yes she is, but Duvall likes brute force.

For those of you who have read/saw To Kill A Mockingbird:

Apparently, a quick google search showed me that Robert Duvall is the actor in To Kill A Mockingbird who plays Boo Radley. Interesting...

my money is on a spiriling dissmemberment to the face via Rupert Deveraux or what ever demon was using him as a vessel at the time
