I don't really understand how to use the IRC. I don't want to be bumbling around in frustration when Mr. Stroud is on, so . . . can anyone explain? And also, what's an audio captcha?

I think you use the audio captcha when you cannot read the normal capcha. But the IRC looks complicated indeed. Can someone explain when you have to tick the Auth to services?

You don't. You just enter username and captcha, and you're good to go.
