Okay people. As a now official user of this site, not just reading over my pal Artimes's shoulder, I feel the need to force my opinions on you. :D

To start off with I want to see how many of you guys are into, have read or - like me - are obessed with the book Inkheart. ( note: to those who have not read go out and buy NOW )

There is a sort of busy worm,
That will the fairest book deform,
Their tasteless tooth will tear and taint
The poet, patiot,sage or saint,
Nor sparing wit nor learning.
Now, if you'd know the reason why,
The best of reasons I'll supply;
'Tis bread to this poor vermin.

I have both Inkheart and Inkspell, but I haven't finished Inkheart yet. <_< Wonderful so far, though.

I actually read the Inkspell first, even though it's the second book. It is SO good! Usually when I do that I don't read the first one because I already know what's going to happen but Inkhearts really good too. Where are you on it?

BTW did you know it's going to be a movie?

Germany, I think. The author is German.

Finished both books! Very sad ending

Who's your favorite character? I like Dustfinger best, although he's a fool.

And I support MeggieFarid all the way!

I also started a fanfic: InkLove Yay me!

Yeah. Some characters are a little too annoying, so much that it takes away the reading pleasure.

Dustfinger was my favorite character all the way. He was okay. Better than the rest...
Look, Queezle.

I did not read Inkheart or Inkspell, but I have vague memories of what happened in Inkheart. But I did not read it.

That makes no sense at all.

Then think harder. Or I'll just tell you. The teacher read it to the class.

Ah.

That makes more sense now.

The characters where original! I thought Dustfinger was excelent. He thinks for himself and not just others, making him more realistic. But he is still a hero. And I really connected with Meggie. I thought the plot itself was original. Unlike some authors (*cough* Paloni *cough*) this was a plot that I'd never heard of before.

Inkheart & Inkspell.....um.......sry Ianna & rest , but I did'nt find it an enthralling read. It got too boring midway Inkspell (the description of Inkheart drove me mad) & so I am still stuck there with no heart to proceed. And Meggie & Farid seems soooooo kiddish somehow, I just plain hate it. Well, I like Mo & Resa & Dustfinger (I guess everyone does). Elinor however is my fav character cause she alone seems real with a sense of humour (even though a sick sense of humour sometimes). Basta is OK with me but I hate the auhor of Inkheart, Fenilingo or whatever. All in all, book nowhere compares to the likes of HP, bartimaeus etcetc.

And the next one is to be called Inkdeath! Cheery, huh? :D (I love these books. Inkheart is one of my ultimate favorites)
Inkdeath? I heard it was Inkdawn. Anyway, I don't like them.

Me neither. But then again, when I read them, I didn't understand them.
