Eh, an in-development IMDB page does not an actually happening movie make. Plenty of ways for it to get stuck in development hell yet, unfortunately.

A still more glorious dawn awaits, not a sunrise, but a galaxy rise, a morning filled with 400 billion suns - the rising of the Milky Way
So lets hope it doesn't end up in the development hell...

Hey! Don't be so down on the whole movie thing :D (I have my hopes up for this one, besides I've been through development hell with Artemis Fowl and it's finally pulling through).

Because, first things first LOOK A DESCRIPTION. Wooh! (well for me) :gladstone:

And secondly, I recently finished Barty and it was a stunning trilogy but I can see why they would run into problems making the movie because some things would just not translate well to the big screen (lots of stuff, not gonna go into it though).

But with Lockwood and Co. luckily it doesn't have that difficulty, as it's setting is modern day London (with a few exceptions) plagued with ghosts (CGI will solve that easy peasy, no problem there).

Plus it's a great plot and everything is pretty easily adaptable for a movie version. And it got snapped up really quick, so hopefully they have some semblance of a script by now (or at least there may be ideas). And it's already got a producer, so I'm hoping it will gain some traction.

Because honestly, I am so excited for this and horror and ghosts is nothing new for Hollywood.
So here's hoping it will pull through. :)

(also yeah, I'm new...ahahah)
