I would go & see my future. Past matters little but still I would like to change some things in my past.

I'd destroy it.
Knowledge is Power, Power Corrupts, and Corruption Destroys.

It's also extremely boring.

And if someone else made it, you shouldn't have the right to destroy it. The technology could inspire products that may be much more useful.

Or an engine or sort of thing that we can attach to our manmade space shuttles that allows them to travel faster than light, thus allowing us to find other solar systems to colonize in preparation for the impending over population of Earth/nuclear holocaust/communist takeover.

About as improbable as a time machine.
really interesting topic.uh..first of all..what is a wormhole??

and i would like to go to the past AND the future both..past to see all the magic..all the ancient stuff..to see history ITSELF.. i wouldnt interfere with it though..just see it happen..learn and observe.and not to forget, almost DIE of awe and admiration..
then i would return to the present...stay for a while..then go to the fure..like WAY into the future..i mean after the world was actually destroyed..id try 2050..and see how the wonderful earth would look after it had been finished...id most probably see gigantic waves lapping at all the land possible and fire leaping over that water..a very dim small sun would be lingering in the gray sky.and the whole world would be just a lump of matter in the universe..well i would be standing/floating there.watching.id be invisible of course.because i wont exsist anyway..no one will for that matter...then id return.

A wormhole is a theoretical "shortcut" through spacetime that would allow you to go from one place/time to another without crossing the intervening distance. Varies theories suggest they might be possible, but creating them would require a LOT of energy at the very least.
Pretty much the same goes for time travel - there are various theories that would allow it, or not specifically have anything against it, but actually doing it would be extremely difficult at best.

Since Space and time (imaginatively called Spacetime) are supposed to be the same thing, Time machines and also teleportation machines as well.

Think Hiro in Heroes

the very fact that there is a word called time machine is that it actually exists..or had exsisted.once.a very long time ago.
Or sci-fi writers thought up another crazy concept and it entered the vernacular?

I loved the movie!
'Meet the Robinson's' would better explain it. Or the time-turner in HP.

I think that the novel Time's Eye clears up a lot about time travel.
