On the special effects side, what kind of effect do you think would be appropriate for transformations?
I.e. Ptolemy's form to a Peregrine Falcon (AoS)

Smokey, straight transfiguration (à la Harry Potter), others...

I'm somewhere in between, since I think copying HP would be bad, especially since I think it looks a little cheesy.
But, so does smoky, so I don't know.
Think... a transfiguration in the way of Harry Potter, crossed with the apparation effects, with smoky trails to represent the djinn's essence changing shape...

I suck at describing, if it seems confusing, ask.
i always imagined the spirits turning liquidous while changing shape during transformations
Mindi Jackson , I think I'm in love. Now I just need to get famous.

They both have writers so you can't fairly judge who's funnier from the show alone. But if you compare them when they write their own stuff, like for the Emmys Colbert clearly wins. If it was a TV sitcom, Stewart would be the sane one that the show revolves around and Colbert would be the crazy one that people actually tune in to watch!

Actually Colbert was on the Daily Show about year before Jon Stewart.

ooh Backstory maybe? 'Cos the guy who wrote Vanity Fair had a Makepeace in his name, and there were a few other characters who resembled real life people
