Hey, I'm 26. :P There's nothing wrong or sad about reading books! Where else can you meet interesting people, have great adventures, and hours of entertainment for free? (Well, free if you borrow your books from libraries, that is. Those hardcovers get expensive.) I plan on reading books until I'm elderly and blind, or until I've gone mad from rereading the Bartimaeus Trilogy hundreds of times. Besides, I've been reading fantasy/sci-fi since I was 8, so it's as they say: old habits/addictions are hard to break!

I really hope that you guys weren't implying something about 13 and 14 year olds back there. I'm 13 but almost 14, 14 on February 26th to be exact.

I reckon there's quite a bit of life in the forums even if the films do take ages. Good books last a long time, and there'll always be people new to the series.

Ptolemy said that if the films took ages the boards would die, implying that we'd get a load of new members if the films did come. I said we'd still get new members even if the films did take ages. You explicitly stated what Ptolemy implied, which wasn't the point of the discussion at all and didn't really add much to it.
