When I'm not at school, I will be doing one of the following:
1) Browsing the internets.
2) Playing video games.
3) Watching TV.
4) Homework (rawr).
That's pretty much it... :P
sentynel is gay
At home;
1)Homework (that means browsing the net & collecting all the damn information the teachers tell us to & trying to understand them all-today its half a dozen physics equations).
2)Read newspapers & books (hardly any time for them though).
3)Do yoga.
4)Bartiforums, mailing my friends, playing chess with the computer.
5)Watch a sports channel, discovery or a political debate & rarely, a movie.
6)When time permits, I play carrom, cards or chess with my sister.
At college;
The usual-fun, fun & fun.

Nero is expecting a wink.
Just read all your entries(Nero's talk-Peggy cove looks nice). What's your favourite musical instrument? I can play the casio (to a small extent) & just know the basics when it comes to a violin.

I walk, play guitar and piano/keyboard, read books, and of course spend vast amounts of time on the computer (music, the internet, games..).

Can you compose songs in a guitar/piano?

Theoretically, yes, I know enough music theory to do that. Whether anybody would actually want to listen to the results is a different matter.

Wow! I always have a lot of respect for people who can compose their own songs. That's because I just can't. Sure, I know very less about it, but I used to spend hours trying to compose my own tunes & melodies. End result-I always, always ended up borrowing tunes. Gave up long ago.

Texting/IMing

There's a limit to everything. You can't think for hours & still come up with nothing substantial.

I am in an angry mood today. My close friend failed to get into a government medical college. She topped the board exams in my school a year ago, but didn't get into a medical college. She took a drop for a year & studied hard for the entrance exams. This time she got in private medical colleges, but the fees there are preposterously high. So she is taking another drop & leaving the city to study in one of those top coaching classes. Grr!!! This is so unfair, she is really good in her studies. The competition is so much, it's downright scary.

Weekdays this week, last week, and the next two weeks -
Wake up at 6 AM or 10:30, shower (sometime preceded by a swim).
Play Call of Duty or Brawl.
Pick up gf from summer school, drop by her place for food & laptop.
Head home.
Chill, have fun. ;)
Drop her off back at her place, dinner.

Weekend -
Whatever.
:D

No, not exactly. There are loads of primary schools (but shortage of good teachers) but when it comes to higher education the scenario is quite different. Some medical colleges & all IIT's are funded by the government (and hence absurdly cheap-you could do your PG in medicine by paying an annual fees of just 300$) & are they all are highly reputed institutes with excellent teachers, but they don't have the capacity to take in every good brilliant student. There are many private-run institutes to make it up, but the fees charged by them are astronomical(PG in medicine here would cost over 40,000$). Obviously, many can't afford it, so there is a mad rush to get into government subsidized institutes. Also, there are quotas there for backward castes so the seats available for general class is very less. Scoring high isn't enough, you have to do exceptionally well. Like even a 95% in the boards doesn't guarantee you a seat in the college of your choice.
