I actually felt the same when I joined.

When I found out about the movie I threw stuff around and googled for fansites for more info and found this place. The night was spent banging my head on the desk while I laughed at the threads. Needless to say, I stayed.

I found the forum via google, in a searching frenzy for all things Bartimaeus related. I think I found it in November sometime, but I didn't want to join until I had read PG which was in December sometime. (Which was fail because I accidentally discovered Nat died anyway, though will the good work of denial I managed to convince myself it wasn't true.)

Teehee, imagine: I could have potentially been on the forum sooner than Nat and Sent. :D

OMG! You guys ruined the ending for me too!
My first reaction was WHAT?!!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Then I tried to convince myself that he wasn't dead by going like natsnotdeadnatsnotdeadnatsnotdead.
I even made sure to avoid the Ptolemy's Gate section...
Then when I read that he died I was but eventually I was back to (crazy, not GS).

It wasn't my fault. Someone was mourning Nat in her LJ so I found the spoiler reading right down the google search page. :(

I came to Bartiforums and searched it on net only after I read PG. So no such problems for me. But I cried when he died :'( .

Yeah, found this place after I'd read the book. With most other books, movies etc. I'm usually not so lucky; the internet ruins everything for me and I'm not capable of forgetting what I've already heard.

I'm pretty used to this in real life though, since my mother can accurately guess the ending of most works of fiction and doesn't keep it to herself. :P

Im glad I didnt join before I read the book. I would have cried if the book got spoiled! I actually joined a year earlier than it shows. I just forgot my password and my username to my first account. Which now I remember!! Honorius13 :D. Just dont remember the password :/

But all is good! I have this one. And I'm here to stay now.

I saw it on a search. 'bout it. I do remember I was explicitly looking for a forum, didn't uite just stumble across it.

I googled Bartimaeus message boards and got here.
I was re-reading the series and wanted to see what other people thought of the Trilogy. :P
