House of Leaves anyone?

Book Discussion
Just curious who's read it, what you think... It's on my top favorites, and I highly recomend it to anyone who hasn't read it.

But, have any of you guys read it?
Heard of it, never read it.

What a shame, what a shame. Maybe you should pick it up?
It is a love story?
That is what wiki tells me. And it released in 2000. No wonder I have not heard of it (it is another matter that I have not heard most good books).

Eventually, most likely. What I've heard about it sounds pretty interesting, but I have a very big pile of books I'm currently working through.

A LOVE STORY? HAHA HARDLY. I mean there's bits about a husband and wife that love each other, but that isn't the main point. Unless somehow I managed to completely misread the entire book. Nono.

It's about a house. A house that's bigger on the inside than on the outside.

Good it isn't a love story.

Now maybe I will search for it. But after my exams.

Fff lucky. My spring break is in April, and I have to travel OTL

And yeah, definately look it up N&B. Suggestion: Read it in the quietest place you can, that book really demands silence.

What is it about? I love reviews, that's how I choose my books. Insider's tips are much more valuable than the Bestseller list. The later one usually has only books that repeat a successful plot over and over again.

I've never heard about that book, but i quick look on amazon revealed that it has about 700 pages. Sort of don't trust a book of that size ...

It is really long, but it's amazing.

It's about several things at once, basically; This guy named Traunt discovers this mess of papers in his neighbors apartment when the guy dies, starts reading it, and it turns out to be this documentary style paper about a guy named Will Navidson who moves into a house that's bigger on the inside than the outside. It doesn't sound all that exciting, and it's a little hard to get through because there are large segments of documentary style text, but it ended up being one of the best things I've ever read.

I highly suggest it. Also, read it when it's quiet, seriously if there's noise it's impossible to focus, and it takes away from the feel.
I've read most of it - I got to the asylum letters. I gave up decoding, dangit. XD
*sigh* I'm such a quitter. D:

Humbug.

Anywho, very . . . interesting. Rather disturbed at times, but very involving. Those few chapters with the boxes of type or scattered words/sentences were embarrassing to read in public, though. XD Eh. And frustrating! Ugh!

Hmm. Perhaps I'll pick it up again after all....
