I joined this forum a while ago but haven't posted anything bartimaeus related or otherwise. i have two excuses though- the bartimaeus related stuff is already pretty well covered in the forum and the otherwise stuff i've been too lazy to post. Here's to new resolutions though (erm, five months later than usual, but better late than never right). And yes, i've read and love all the Bartimaeus books and just finished the Ring of Solomon, which is why i wanted to change my username to Hippo in the Purple Skirt but i don't know how. And btw, this hippo seems greedy for a couple of cookies!

It is so great to have you here! I am going to stop being a rebel (a couple of members and I decided we would not feed newbies cookies like everyone and give them something else) and offer you many, many cookies!
