Hey does anyone here believe "AHHHHH! END OF WORLD!!!" thing? Is anyone here afraid of the number 666? *scary music plays* i know 6/6/06 was yesterday but I am wondering.

Not really. I find the 666 idea rather hilarious.

I remember when I used to be in Sunday school. The teacher said that back then, there was a megalomanic king out there, and it was illegal to say he's anything but perfect. 666 was supposed to be a secret word which meant imperfect. And Hollywood had distorted it into making it the sign of the devil or something.

But that's just what I heard. Not sure if it's true or not.

My own little world has ended dozens of times. Putting it back together after reality comes crashing down is beginning to get annoying.

It's in the bible. Apparently, it's the devil's sign. I saw it there myself, so this isn't a rumour.

The movie was quite something. Hmm, it semmed to have made me afraid of my bed. I'll just stay gere for the rest of the night. And the 666 thing was in the Bible.

I saw the Omen on the 06.06.06 at 06.06 :). It was a good movie. As for the whole 666 thing, i havent read about that specific number in the bible, but i know that 3am is meant to be the time of the devil, as a mockery to the time that Jesus died, and revelations is quite scary, but the thing with the Bible is, its all down to interpretation. You get some cracking stories out of it though.

In the Bible says that a man' number is 666. it's in the book of Revelations. revelations 3:18. Did you know Revelations means Apocalypse in Greek? And they think that Ceaser Nero, who persecuted Christians with unspeakable cruelty, is the Anti-Christ. Because in Revelations it says something about a fatal wound in which you think he's dead but he has been rejoined and back to life as the Beast. Nero slit his throat. And also in Hebrew didn't have signs for numbers so they assigned numerical values to letters of the alphabet, and if you add up the value of Nero's name, the numbers are 100, 60, 200, 50, 200, and 6, you get the number 666. Interesting huh? I got that all from the Bible and a Newspaper article.
