hi, I'm carly, I'm new.

I'm here now because my friend lent me the ring of solomon (finally) and after that I had to re-read the other three and now I'm suffering from a bad, bad book-hangover.

for the record: I'm 38, dark hair (where it hasn't turned grey yet), brown eyes, too short for my weight.

happily married with two kids, too lazy for spelling, when I'm online. (I correct stuff all day, I'm a teacher)

if I was a magician, I'd summon bartimaeus, just to tell him how awsome he is.
but then - he wouldn't really appreciate it, would he? so I suppose, I wouldn't summon him after all.
so it doesn't really matter, that I can't.

Welcome to the forum Mrs. Carly. What kind of teacher are you? I mean, are you a teacher that makes a lesson more spooky than a ghost, or the one who make it more fun than playing games?

I teach german, em-nature stuff, I don't know, what to call it. it's everything from magnetism to birds&bees and class rules. not exactly science. in elementary school. and english and religion.

I'm strict, but if you play by my rules, it's fun. ;) no talking, no chewing gum. ;)
I've got a second grade. you can't be too strict with them.

Hm - so I suppose I'm the let's sing a song and draw a picture sort of teacher most of the time.

@nathanielandbartimaeus: there are no real grown-ups. only people who have to pay all their own bills. (especially anyone who joins a forum about a fantasy novel can't be REALLY grown-up). ;)
