you get stuff? we just get badges. luckily they look like the librarian ones so you can get into lunch early by saying you have a meeting.

Badges? We don't have alter server badges! and they only pay us to do special masses, funerals, weddings, stuff like that. Although we do get complementary silver Cross necklaces, which are pretty nice. Besides, I'm happy being one.

I think I'd be more into the whole church thing if say my parents didn't force it on me. Plus my music teacher is the piano player. Way creepy. I have to call him by his first name.

I just got back from a 2 hour Easter Vigil Mass. 6 servers, 2 priests, countless choir members and lectors, the whole deal. Latin readings and praises, etc.
*Yawn* And about a trillion candles. It was nice. Very nice. But hard. Very hard. At least the pay was good. ;)

Woo!
I find them, take the candy if it's something I like, close them up, and put them where I found them.
The best part is seeing my little brothers or other kids expression afterwords...priceless...

Haven't had to head off to the service yet. (Insane parents woke me up at seven o'clock to do 'easter egg hunting' Annoying? Yes! I think they have a problem figuring out I'm not five)

I have to do it for my demon-child-Hell-spawn-brother.

Same here mostly.

I wouldn't exactly call my brother that... more like an evil spirit encarnent stuck in an oh-so-cute nine year olds body. Thats basically my living nighmare.

i do them because i like them. i was really annoyed my mum didnt do one this year. bloody chocolate eating dog.

my sister is far more 'mature' than me, or so im told. pretty much means she doesnt dress in the first things that falls out of her wardrobe and wears makeup. somehow that makes her more 'grown up'. not that im complaining

You put stuff in your wardrobe? What a waste of time.

Mom hasn't wanted to do an egghunt for the past few years because of the dog, but I got her to do it anyway.

Lucky me, I don't go to church.

So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

I believe chocolate can be very very bad for dogs. But my cat eats popcorn.

Believe? It is.

And mom had to be very creative this year so Autumn the bitch wouldn't eat it.

Okay, just making sure. My teacher told us her dog died from eating it. But this particular teacher isn't a reliable source.

Oh, and since today is acctualy Easter-Happy Easter everyone.

Chocolate is dangerous to dogs.

However, the stuff which passes for chocolate in the US in particular (Cadbury, Hershey) has so little chocolate in it's safe.

A little chocolate won't kill them. But it might get them sick. My dentist has two dogs and they left them alone in the house for a couple of hours (not a good idea). When they came back there was chocolate powder everywhere and both dogs had it on thier paws. They did a charcoal treatment on both of them to get rid of the chocolate, and later on found out that only one dog had eaten it. Can you say, whoops?

As long as they don't eat a lot they should be okay. They might throw up or sleep longer than usual though. That's what happened a week ago to my dog when she ate three easter eggs.
