How long it would last wasn't something I ever really thought about. It runs for as long as it can sorta thing. But if you'd tied me down and made me guesstimate... then no, I probably wouldn't have said this long. It's a pretty impressive degree of staying power given we've had nothing but vague rumours and a very recent low-key announcement of a new book since the forum was launched.

You have to pass an awesomeness test to become an admin.


The descriptions are there, as you so astutely pointed out, for our own amusement. The staff forum went through a phase of being a gigantic Battlestar Galactica reference fairly recently, too.

Hey, it was only a phase. And it was right in the runup to the final season, so we were both pretty into it.
