Just don't use a pseudonym. Because they will lock your entire Google account. (Yes, all of it. Email, reader, calendar, YouTube, the works.)

That seems kind of extreme. I guess we're just not allowed to be anonymous on the internet anymore, are we? *grumble*

Sure, send me an invite, but I'm still not sure what makes this any different from all the other social networking stuff out there.

Yeah, a science/biology blogger I follow got her whole account locked. Got back into GMail after forking over her phone number, but everything else remains locked. Stonewalling from Google in response, naturally.

Here's what's different about G+:

I have an account, but I've not really done anything with it. I quite like some of the ideas, but.. meh.

I doubt G+ will ever beat fb, which is why I am not getting G+. Plus I'm not an anti-fb hipster :P

In my experience, Hangouts are loads of awesome. Everything else is pretty meh, facebook. I mean, I'm not even particularly interested in circles, because I used groups in FB to manage contacts, and it's the same thing.
