Queezle isn't cooler than Kitty.

Cause Kitty lived.

So, you're cool if you live? Kitty only lived because she didn't die! She SHOULD have died!

Wait, does that mean that Nat isn't cool? He sacrificed himself!

And, I still hold that Queezle is cooler than Kitty.
Look, Queezle.

Nope, not really.

I have been doped up on medicine for 48 hours....so you can't really trust what I say.

And yes, Kitty and Nat should have switched places.

So are you pro-Kitty (boo) or against Kitty?

And, what was the medicine for? (No answer required.)
Look, Queezle.
Ptolemy, Bart, Kitty.

Those three simply because they are all willing to bend traditional magician/spirit values and the established norm, and venture more deeply into a sociological side of their relationship than the other characters (Except right at the end, this is not so much with nat/bart)

And because Kitty is an anarchist, Bart is a shapeshifting, detonation-tossing whirlwind of somewhat belated coolness, and Ptolemy was an academic. Which made him better than that money-grubbing Rupert chap.

I'm somewhat scared to have Barty as a fave, though. I'm scared people might accuse me of being a blind fanboi, somewhat like the Sasuke fans.
tie between bartimaeus and nathaniel

yeah, I love bartimaeus too.
and Queezle.
Look, Queezle.
I don't know if I'm qualified to be a fangirl, but Nat, Nat, Nat! I loved his character from the very beginning, hovering between hero and anti-hero. His prissiness, at times skewed priorities, and generally unpleasantness made me laugh, and in a way he was funnier to me than the naturally humorous Bartimaeus. (I have a thing for generally unsympathetic characters with a few noble qualities and are funny on the outside...POTC's Cutler Beckett comes to mind.) :pirate1:

I didn't cry when Nat died; in fact, I thought that it worked for the story, so I was both happy and sad, or sad in a happy way, take your pick. I've never actually cried about a book, though. Got teary in a few places, but so subtly that I never remember where I got teary.

And I love Barty too, of course. Who doesn't?

I can't remember who/what the Footstool was!

In Golem's Eye, when most of Nat's department are summoning djinn, and Barti looks down the line of pentacles and sees one on the end with what he takes to be a djinni in the form of a footstool. Nat points out it is a footstool, because that pentacle isn't being used.

I take it you love almost illegible fonts as well. :D

I voted for Bart and Nathaniel. I mean, Barti is just great!!! I loved him since the beginning of the books. And I love Nathaniel because he's not the usual "good" main character, but more like a human, with flaws and all

Nat was better in the last two, but i still like basically everyone. Ramuthra, Nouda, bart, and queezle are the higher-ups, but i like all of them.

Queezle wasn't a higher up. Ptolemy had more appearances.
