April Fools!

Today, we have some really exciting news to share with you.

We were recently approached by an independent film company. They were interested in writing and producing a film based on Bartiforums inception and some of the events that have occurred over the past five and a half years.

We're delighted to say that we've agreed to help provide the company with the background information and history of all the events that have occurred and are in the process of helping to supervise the writing process.

As the writing of the script moves past what happened when I founded the forum, the producers are currently hoping to interview members who were active around 06/07. Soon after that phase of the writing process is complete, they'll move onto members active around 08/09,

If you wish to be part of the project, please post below. Depending on how much information you can provide to the producers, you will receive a % cut of all film revenues. That includes revenues from cinema ticket sales and also DVD/Blu-Ray sales.

And I thought it was a film on the Bartimaeus books. And that they wanted stuff about Bartiforums for better understanding about how fans consider Bartimaeus Trilogy and get background information and stuff.

Haha, nice one. The whole concept wasn't totally out of the question, though. They made Ringers: Lord of the Fans for LOTR after all, which is probably why I actually believed it until I realized, "Wait a minute, it's April 1st..." XD

Eh too bad. Who else thinks we should band together to form something similar to The Social Network?

Sent, GS and DC spun a good yarn in IRC. I didn't understand what they were talking about till I came to know it was April Fool joke and that the movie was supposed to have been based on Bartiforums and not Bartimaeus like I thought. They were talking about some drama and their characters being played by some famous actors. I thought they weren't serious or were talking about some old joke. I would have asked if my internet wasn't being so pathetic that day; I kept losing track of the conversation as my internet literally crashed 10 times in 20 minutes or something like that.
