Paolini said that he isn't a vegetarian, so he's not really enforcing his vegetarian beliefs on us. No wonder it makes no sense that Eragon, a hunter and farmer, suddenly is disgusted by eating two bunnie wabbits.

Elva's existence makes no sense. Am I the only one who caught "The words don't matter as much as the intent. A magician could say "water", and create a gem by finding a connection between them"?

I just got halfway through Eldest, and I was struck by how Paolini changed how the magic system worked.
