Tell me please somebody here has heard of Dragonlance?

It's alright. I read the first one, with the uh...draconians and the clerics, and the second one. Night of the Dragons, I think.
Gladstone/Sentynel/Krim/Gladstone/Sentynel/Krim/Stroud/Gladstone

The three ships. Kinda like the Mayflower and all those.

I strongly recommend you at least finish that Trilogy. There are dozens of Dragonlance books, and you've but scraped the tip of the iceberg.

I used to really like that series.

Then I was overwhelmed by the fact that there are like five thousand books in it.

There are a lot of books, granted, but they're awesome. I'm reading the Linsha Trilogy now. Dragon + Human romance FTW.
