Thanks to this I spent forever on wikipedia reading up on Cassandra Claire. Apprantly, she actually plagrized her own fanfiction to write her book.

Yes, but that's not plagiarising. Plagiarising is specifically stealing someone else's work and passing it off as your own. It's just reusing your old stuff.

True.

Basically, the wikipedians took a bent defintion of plagarzation and I used their phrase.

I think their point was that Claire was trying to pass off her old stuff as new.

Aaah I remember reading her Draco stuff, found it really boring ,didn't understand the hype... I enjoyed looking at the accompanying illustrations more than the prose.
