Firefox? The mouse tends to go whacky and all busy in Firefox. Exploler seems to be more stable.

Firefox has effective popup blocking, tabs (once you've used them you'll never go back), a nicer interface, more regular updates, fewer security holes, and it is actually faster than IE, especially if you're on a broadband connection and you know what you're doing.

Also, a whacky mouse and stability problems in Firefox? How long was it since you tried it? I haven't had problems since I started at 0.8 (it's 1.0.7 now), but it's worth trying again if you haven't tried in the last couple of weeks (there was an update recently).

Firefox owns. I'm so used to using tabs now, I've become dependent on them. And IE is one of the only internet browers that don't have tabs.

The only problem I have with firefox is it takes a long time to start up when I first turn on my computer. Other than that, it's awesome.
Meh. IE is fast enough really but I have a better computer than most people. The popup blocker is fine, but I don't go on sites with assive amounts of popups. Isn't a tab a key on your keyboard that you use to jump to other links on the page or to indent?

Plus, I like Explorer more for little to no reason. I've had it my entire life. o_o

And wow we are really off topic. But off topic is fun, so I guess that's okayish.

Tabs allow you to have more than one page open per window, which is better because it saves memory space and is also faster - you don't have to wait for new windows to open.
FireFox loads pages faster because it handles multiple connections to a site.

All of you get FF now. :P

I think FF runs the forum much better, for example the scrolling news box at the top of the page, its quite distorted in IE

Not firefox's fault, i think. Norton and some Trojans are having a nice little battle on my firewall...

Trojans. Are you really surprised when you're using Norton?
NOD32 is the best antivirus out there.

Sentynel has a prejudice against Norton :P

I've got Norton Internet Security, and it runs fine!

It runs 'fine' (actually uses more RAM space than most other common antiviruses) and entirely fails to notice the legions of viruses and so on which are specifically designed to walk straight past it because it's the most common antivirus.

its funny because its true
Mcafeeeeeeee. :D

Feh! Tabs! Who needs to have more than six Internet pages open at the same time anyways? XD

I don't think Firefox has anything to do with the glitches because the forum is working fine now. :D I just know from experience that Invisionfree is kind of glitchy at times.

I know someone who has McAfee and it basically acted as a door. Viruses just opened it and walked straight through.

I've got Norton and have only gotten viruses when I do something stupid. Which happens a lot, incidentally.

McAfee is almost as bad as Norton.
Now imagine NOD32. You don't get viruses even if you do do something stupid.

And tabs - I sometimes have thirty or so open at once, from six or so different websites.

D: Mcafee woooorks. I get viruses and stuff like once every six months, but they're really easy to get rid of.

Those are the viruses you know about. When I switched from McAfee to NOD32, there were ten (count 'em) infections McAfee hadn't noticed. Not as bad as on the other computer, mind, where switching from F-Secure to NOD32 there were almost FIFTY infections F-Secure hadn't seen.

was this thread about Nathaniel at some point? ...
'"That's right," I said "Me. What, did you think that I'd be all nice and quiet for you? Think again, sonny. There are two of us in this body now. Check this out."
To prove my point I lifted one of his fingers and methodically picked his nose. He uttered a squawk of protest. "Stop that!"'
I lowered the arm. "That's not all I can do if I put your mind to it"'
