Excatly. It appeals to our human nature, in a way.

But in real life it doesn't end happy and real people get hurt.

We enjoy it because it makes conflict, and without conflict, there is no plot.

Indeed. The conflict is usually the climax of the story.

Why would we waste our time without the conflict?

Oh, wait, we wouldn't....

How true how true... And without conflict, how can either side win? And what kind of story would it be without it... a very boring one....

Yes, welcome to the fourms.

I wonder how much of the Dursely's we'll see in Book 7...

I really wonder if they'll be in the book at all.

For some reason I keep getting the feeling Petunia still has one more important part to play in the book...

But my intuition is probably as accurate as those of the Harmony shippers.

Well, JKR said there's something we need to learn about Petunia.

And we haven't found out what Dudley saw with the dementor.

Someone was talking to me earlier and they said that there is a part in the third movie, that wasn't in the third book. And that part in the movie plays an important part in the last book. Is that so?

What JKR said was that she was surprised at some of the things the director had done, because they hint at the later (I think she said last) books.

I'm not sure what parts, no one but Rowling is.

I hope the Dursleys play a vital role. I love the start of the books at Privet Drive. It is what sets the whole book up for me :)

I don't think they'll play a vital role, but they're roles within the books will be summed up.

I agree, they need to play a main role in at least one chapter...

Do you think they'll be mentioned in the epilogue?

I'd hope so.

Well when i said vital role i meant having at least one chapter to themselves XD
I completely forgot that the dursleys are important...but then i've been focusing on star wars and death note and haven't reread harry potter in ages. I think JKR said she would leave a lot of questions unanswered and simply hint at them. I can't wait to find out about the ghosts, though!

Hmm...all hallow's eve or all hallow's day is also called all saints' day. significance?

I don't think so, I think it might have something to do with it, but I think it's more of the Authurian leged thing.
