i've heard lots and i don't like any of it

I haven't heard any rap I've liked.

Incidently, I don't hate rap and think everyone who sings it/likes it should go die. I just don't like it, but do like a good debate now and again.

Well what i stated is what people who hate rap usually say.

Usually is a bad base for an argument.

Well... you haven't mentioned it or put it on the 'bands you listen to' list.

I didn't mention it, no, but that doesn't mean I don't listen to it. I only listed the bands I listen to a lot.

Now that were all feeling a bit angry why dont we listen to some Slipknot?

Incidently, the only good rapper that there is and ever will be is MC Lars, but hes more Rap Punk.........lets just listen to some slipknot

Slipknot is good, but Iron Maiden and Zeplin, Cradle of Filth ect outclass them

Slipknot? I'm not really a fan of them.

OF Course not, there just abvivance for the rock scene.

The only hip-hop artist I like is Kanye West because he makes actual music. Although that new TI song has possibly the best music of any rap song I've ever heard.

And Tupac is a poet, basically. He doesn't qualify as a rapper because he's that great. Eminem is good by rap standards. His samples of old songs are great. (Like Toy Soldiers comes to mind.)

Arctic Monkeys and the Kaiser Chiefs are really good, as well. Although no one compares to Oasis. (I don't care what people say about them - listening to a song like Don't Look Back In Anger or Stop Crying Your Heart Out makes a bad day worthwhile.)

If you don't like rock, try listening to one of those songs and tell me it doesn't mean anything. Or the Masterplan or Cast No Shadow.

And of course, Wonderwall might just be the song where rock was perfected.

Stairway to Heaven is amazing - it's my third favorite song ever behind Wonderwall (number one) and Coldplay's The Scientist, which is possibly the most haunting piece of music ever made.
