Yeah, I bet. Or if he was smaller, he could concentrate more on strength and not on his form.

His forms do put some limit on what he can do.
A dog can't fly without wings.
If he flys without wings, he has to use energy.
Remember how he said in PG that Flying takes a lot of energy?
That why you use a form that has wings.
