Bartimaeus Tattoos

General Discussion
Recently I have been wondering about getting a Tattoo related with the Bartimaeus trilogy. Now I tried googling it to get some ideas but I guess no one has one. Does anyone have one or any suggestions of what would be cool?

I was thinking of just getting the blue Minotaur on my back. Any other ideas?

Tattoos are just stupid...

Gee, wanna try offering something a LITTLE more helpful than that?
Sheesh, even by my standards...

As a personal favorite, I suggest a coal-black jackal surrounded by flames.
Awesome.

Welcome Canis. I like your avatar-it's original.
I would personally prefer a Nathaniel look-alike tattoo. I doubt anyone could design my version of Bartimaeus.

Get a tattoo of Stroud! Or maybe quote a line from the book, if that's too fangirly for you.

But I appreciate your commitment, keep it up!
Get a tattoo of Gladstone's face. That is all.

Tattoo eh?? You must be a pretty hardcore fan. Minotaurs a good one, yeah, that jackal idea would be awesome though. Maybe a Bart quote, though it'd have to be a real good one. Probably short and sweet. How bout Honorius, similar to how he looks on the front cover of GE? - On the book I have anyway. The staff might be a bit much, maybe just him (the skeleton) and his Gladstone mask. That way, to people unfamiliar with the books it would still look cool.
When I set out from the boy's attic window, my head was so full of competing plans and complex strategems that I didn't look where I was going and flew straight into a chimney.

Something symbolic in that. It's what fake freedom does for you.
I like the Honorius, Minotaur, and Jackal ideas. Personally if I for w/e reason got
a tatto it'd probably be the Minotaur.
What about a scarab or something egyptian to do with bartimeaus's past.

A scarab huh. That seems like a pretty cool tattoo. But It would be hard to beat against the suggestion of Gladstone's face. Lol.

Maybe get an Egyptian cartouche thing spells out "Ptolemy"?
A serpent with silver feathers, a lion warrior, a pentacle (people might give you odd looks if you get this), the Golem's eye...

Or you could just make a piece of costume jewellery inspired by the Amulet of Samarkand if you're keen on wearing a piece from the Trilogy but you don't want to commit. :P

Nitpick: Technically, Ptolemy's name would likely have been written in Greek, not Egyptian, as Πτολεμαῖος. The Ptolemaic dynasty was a successor state to Alexander's empire. Ptolemy himself would have written in Greek.
It can, however, be written in Egyptian, as

Egyptian looks WAY cooler. ^_^
Bartimaeus spent several thousand years working for the pharoahs, so the use of Egyptian would reflect that. Also, it looks more exotic. Greek doesn't have the same amount of coolness factor, probably because some people can read it and it won't be very mysterious. :(

But what would the tattoo of the guy with the tattoo be?
Or would it just be another guy with a tattoo...

I always thought Scarlett Johansson had prettier lips....

Anyways, what about a tattoo of a lizard in thigh highs?
That's Mwamba's favored form, and it's pretty cool to boot!
