As part of the marketing campaign for the Ring of Solomon, the publishers (or more accurately, their highly enthusiastic publicity assistant (p.s. enthusiasm is definitely a good thing when you're in publicity!)) have set up a fan page on Facebook.

You should all click "like" and help spread the word! Also, go forth and plug the books to your friends, family, distant acquaintances and mortal enemies! (The Ring of Solomon is a prequel and does not require reading of the Trilogy first, so once it comes out it may be an easier sell for your lazy friends.)
And finally, if you look in the discussions section of the fan page, there may be chances to get hold of an advance copy of the book, and we know none of you can resist that...

*shrug* My parents have always been more paranoid than usual when it comes to the internet. Wasn't even allowed an email 'till I was 15. Never really explained why, I'm just left to think I'm not responsible enough.

My parents have absolutely no problem letting me do what I want. I've always got that freedom...except when it comes to health. They don't trust me to look after myself one bit. They think if they let me eat when I want, how much I want and what I want (in that order), I will forever be in the hospital. And last year, I realized they had a point. But I guess I'm improving. While last year I used to skip breakfast, lunch and tea due to some work, this year, I try and eat my food irrespective of how much work I have. I still manage to delay meal times by about 2 hrs, but that is okay. That is, okay according to me. Not according to my parents.

I suspect the previously released cover is a US cover, and the one that's just been released is a UK cover.

Yeah, I don't really use it that much. It's just useful for keeping in touch with some people I don't have much in the way of other ways of contacting.
