Some sports are fun to participate in. Almost all are dead boring to watch.

Yeah, I like playing some sports (though I am really, really bad at all of them), but I've never understood the obsession with watching them on T.V. I do like watching stuff like the Superbowl, but I don't see the point of watching tiny little players run around a screen on a regular basis. And the commentary is torture.

New computer build. 640GB drive; did a 10GB partition for Windows and the rest for general use, formatted the 10GB partition, installed Windows, booted, and then started formatting the big partition.


Edit: on the subject of watching sports, I did watch a couple of the Olympic sailing races, which were rather good, but mostly because sailing's very tactical and the commentator was Ben Ainslie, probably the best sailor in the world, who is not overly enthusiastic, knows what he's talking about, and is capable of explaining it.

Well, they might be boring to watch, maybe even if you're actually somewhere in the bleachers surrounded by crazy people jumping up and down for their favorite team...and the commentators are sometimes annoying too.

I don't get why some people hate sports either...unless if it's for the reason that they don't feel athletic enough, not interested in doing exercise, or that they hate their physical education (or gym, whatever you call it) classes...

But if some people starting complaining about just EXERCISING, then that ticks me off...
