According to my French teacher you should aim for doing work 8 hours of the day. Meaning, if you have three hours of classes, 5 hours should be homework or review.

If you're really organised, you do eight hours a day! If you're a normal person, you end up putting in 16 hour days (that's not including breaks for meals).

I'm staying home for a bit after high school, at least a couple months.
