Do you really blame the Djinni for being a tad on the angry side? Faqual seemed like a nice enough Djinni to his own kind. And Bartimaeus would have gladly ate a human soul if he wanted, it wasn't till near the end when he began to like Kitty and Nat probably. And yeah, friendships can exist between a magician and a Djinni, but only when there's that balance, and that is extremely hard to find.

most spirits don't even try to find the balance though.
I said Mr. Underwood...he just made me mad like no other character in the series did. Granted, maybe Nat KINDA deserved to be yelled at, but I hated Underwood from the beginning when he set those three million imps on five-year-old Nat

Nathaniel + Kitty Forever!

Mr. Underwood just yelled at Nat because he did something wrong. But, Underwood never tried to keep him out of trouble, and never protected him so therefore the yelling is unnc=ecessary.
AAARGH!!! I voted before I read the topic! I thought it was about how bad as in villanious the character was! So I voted Nouda.

That's not bad. Nouda's bad as well.

Nat never deserved to be yelled at.

Nouda was just disgusting.

I hate Jane. I'm not exactly sure why, she didn't do anything particularly evil... but she annoys me a lot.

She's the bitch we love to hate, and very deliciously devious.

She's cool.

And she's a lot more fun to read than Kitty, at least for me.

How's that even possible, Luciene?

She's just stupid.

Like Underwood.

Only not as ugly.

Or a guy.

I hope.

I hope you're talking about Jane

Well...I don't think Jane is all that great at academics and stuff, but she's really good with people I'm sure. PR and the works.

And since it annoys Ianna....JOHN/JANE FOREVER!!

Academics, as in not in the traditional real-world sense? Think she has to be reasonably skilled at magic.
Nothing to see here, move along.

She seems more like she's better at manipulation and controlling then magical ability I meant.

Like, I'm pretty sure she's good with those wolves.

What she knows is from what her master taught her.

Edit: Although, aren't academics good for preparing for summonings? Foreign languages, music, art, etc.?

She seems pretty much like the annoying perfect over-achiever to me.

Yes, I was talking about Jane.

You have to know langauages and music for summoning.
