*shrug* It's probably also just an American thing, but the z part in 'apologize' does fit better with the pronunciation.

Eek. You have exams after the holiday break?

Yes. Always do.
I say night I'm living in the forest of my dream,
I know the night is not as it would seem,
I must believe in something,
So I'll make myself believe it,
That this night will never go.

I think Random hasn't started the comic yet. The script's long gone, with only she and Luciene read it.
I'm so happy exams are over. *pulls face* Although I have a test today. Nevermind...

Look, I'll start on the comic after my exams, but probably before study leave ends. That's only two days mind, but I might get somewhere. These are fairly important; the module marks count towards our final grade, so give me some leeway please?

And it's always "zed". "Zee" just sounds wrong, unless you're talking to Zebadee of course.

What board are you?
I'm taking further maths AS because it'll make the first year of uni easier. I'd rather do a little more work now (especially as I don't actually *have* to pass cos it's not part of my offer) and be able to do a little less next year, since I'm bored out of my skull most of the time at school anyway.

Edexcel for maths.

Z is pronounced "zed".

Exams after holidays is better than before. Gives you time to revise.

Same. I'm doing the full A2 for further maths; it's part of my offer from Warwick. Means I don't have to do a STEP or AEA if I get AAAA. Mind you, whilst we've done plenty of applied modules, we've barely started on FP1. Guess that's the main difference between doing Maths and Physics then.
I use "ize" for verb endings, but no other crappy Americanisms.

...Okay to sum up things once again, Artemis, you didn't miss too much, as shown here.

Ooh, that's pretty good. I failed AEA last year (so did the bloke who's just gotten into Cambridge to do Maths, though I got a higher score >.> )... STEP is just silly.
Also, I'm now doing four modules of further maths, cos apparently M2 and M3 are very similar and they're teaching them at the same time, so it's easier for me to just do both. I've got time.
I reckon it'd have been more sensible to do FP1 and FP2 first so you've got a chance to retake them in the summer - they're way harder than the applied modules, which are really easy. Stats in particular.

It seems so different from the ordinary course, and I wouldn't have any help on it. The want a II on one of them with AAB. But I'd rather go for AAAA.

It is a bit odd, the way my school is running further maths; they tried teaching us FP1 before we learnt C3 and C4, but that didn't work out, as we didn't know the integration. So we've learnt half of FP1. I know we're doing M2 as a class, but the teacher doesn't like teaching M3, so some people are learning it on their own; but they have a very small Physics class, so they'll probably get away with it. And as I'm doing Maths at Uni, I'd rather do FP2 and FP3, though if M3 is anything like M1, it's probably incredibly easy.

Did you take S2 yesterday? If so, how did you find it?

...Sentynel, get hold of this topic this instant! :D
No that was not Gladstone.
I will probably take a bunch of irrelevant courses at university.

We're staying on course, within a thread. He's reading Physics next year, I'm reading Mathematics. Hence we take similar A2 courses. I may not think that Physics is as great as he thinks it is, and I doubt he thinks Maths is as great as I think it is. Neither is irrelevent. Which subjects do you prefer?
User Avatar

I never said math was irrelivent. I simply going to take a course that looks interesting. And the required ones of course, but I'm going for English for sure. Litature. Though I don't think I'll make it in that class...

Aye, I was looking at one of my friend's STEP papers. They're effing ridiculous. Four As is way easier.
M3's really easy; it's just a small expansion of M2 and a lot of the methods make it easier anyway - being able to deal with energies and stuff.

Yeah, I took S2. Piss easy. Even with the roof leaking on me. >.<

Now Nero, the forums WERE "immediately started now." Was is singular. Forums is plural.
