That site burns my eyes. Dear gods, would it kill him to have a menu or something like that? And not have the background colours change between numerous poisonous bright pastel colours on every page? And have a constant page width?

He's very good with his books but not so good in his website, or maybe that's just a joke...

There is no excuse for having a bad website. If he can't do it himself, pay someone to do a good one.

Maybe he doesn't have the money. My school paid someone to do their website, and it sucks.

A basic but functional webpage could be knocked up by your average student for a few quid - there's no shortage of web developers capable of producing simple but effective stuff for not much money, and they shouldn't really be that hard to find. Sure, a fancy online shopping service or something will cost you to have developed, but a simple webpage can be had for peanuts if you look around a bit. Schools seem completely incapable of doing so. Hell, they could probably pay one of their own students to do it - they'd just have to proofread the code to spot the inevitable negative comments before putting it online.

Of course, now they have to teach us how to use their crappy website in a class.
Yeah, they could have just asked some smart person/nerd in our class to do it.
