There was an attempt at starting an RP here, but it lacked structure.


I'm sure if you asked nicely, Gladstone would make an RP board if you were prepared to run it.

dude, alchemist guy, my site has plenty of people who love to RP and love the bartimaeus trilogy. if you want, join up there. but i think seeing as the series is finished, it kinda ruins the rp factor, which is why i voted nay.

I think we are averaging about1-2 members a week

Just because the series has finished doesn't limit RP at all in my opinion. OK, fine, there's a short time period where you can't change anything major - but there's the past and the future.
Also, in my experience, even with only a handful of people, RPs can still be great fun - indeed, it can get confusing with more.

Then it's alright, I guess. Any other objections/suggestions?

My only thought is just to wait untill we have about 20 active members.......because right now it just seems like a small pool to play from....or my creat the section now and wait for the forum to get people before we send the RP off on its way.....

I currently participate in an RP that has five active members, and it's fantastic fun.

I was once involved in an RP with between twenty and thirty people. It quickly got confusing and degenerated into chaos as people argued about the actions of everybody else.
