Alex Rider

Book Discussion
The series seems to be quite popular. So, I'm thinking if anyone here's read it, we can discuss it here (duh) :P

It's one of my favorite series :D My favorite book is Scorpia so far and I can't wait till Snakehead comes out!
Don't yell shark in a theatre and fire at the beach! :D

These acttually turned out pretty good. I mean, besides the fact it's action scene after action scene after action scene, I liked these.

There's another one?!

I rather like it.
The story is a bit cliched, but the way it's written isg reat. And some of the quotes, haha.

"It reminds me of me sometimes"
"It's 99% water, has no brain and no asshole."

Or something like that.

Anus, actually.

The movie used it as a direct quote...

"You belong in Gryffindor,
where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
set Gryffindors apart."

The movie... meh. It didn't make it to theatres, so I didn't bother to see it. I don't want it to ruin my mental image of the characters.

Yes, sometimes it is a bit of a cliche. But it's just so fun to read...

I bought it on DVD, I thought it wasn't bad. I really liked Alex, I thought he did a good job.

It made theaters in the UK, I heard.

Hm. Good enough for me!

They added Sabina Pleasure, though and that annoyed me a bit.

I saw it in the cinema. Good, but not exceptional. Kinda like the book really.

Well, yes.

My friends and I watched it on a twelve inch TV screen.

I use 12 inch television screens for target pratice in my back yard.

I might see it, if I run into it at some movie store...

It was at Movie Gallery and Blockbuster. Walmart has exclusive rights to the DVD, according to something I read about.

We just upgraded from the TV I previously mentioned to a 37 inch HD TV.

And a good quote it was.

The movie isn't very good, is it? I suppose one of the good points is Alex Pettyfer ;)

That was my favorite part. I thought he portrayed Alex very well.

I'm taking he acts a lot better than Ed Speleers.

Most people do.

Anyone does.

But maybe Paris Hilton.

Has Paris done any acting? Even Dan Rad is a better actor than Speelers.

I think the Alex Rider books and AF are very similar in some ways, only I like AF a whole lot more.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Dan Radcliffe isn't bad anymore. And she's done like, two movies.

I don't really comapre them.
