From reading your wonderful books, ive thought over an entire universe of questions, but i'd rather not bore you, so i'll just ask two.

1.) In AoS, while Ramuthra was busy getting over here to eat everybody, Lovelace was being bombarded by magic attacks by Djinnis of other magicians, all futile because of the amulet.
Why didnt one of them just throw an object like a chair, or a cane, that would work wouldnt it?

2.) The first magician, how would he have discovered Djinnis, and summoning, and all that. Did he on impulse say:''Hey i think im going to draw a star with a circle, put around some candles, and say a random name and see what happens.''? http://bartiforums.com/topic/3342/

Greetings. Sorry about the delay replying.

Not an annoying question at all, but a good one. You're right, basically. If any of the magicians had had the presence of mind to sneak up behind Lovelace and physically brain him, then they'd have had a much better chance of survival. But they're panicking - Ramuthra's arrival was too much for them.
It takes Bart and Nat to think to physically attack him.
