Dear Mr. Stroud,
I really enjoy your books! You're an awesome author. Your naming scheme that ties Nathaniel, Bartimaeus, and Ptolemy was very clever. Anyways... On to the questions

1. What other things can djinn do other than change shape? I know that Bartimaeus used hurricane and obedient flame(as said in the wiki) but is that all?

2. What type of element system(not sure how to word it) do you use? ex. Bartimaeus is weak to Golems who are made of Earth.

3. Bartimaeus like went inside Nathaniel's body so could he do it to other creatures if he wanted? Or would he not do that because he would basically be stuck in there?

4. It said that werewolves were like a hybrid of some sort. Are other magical creatures all some type of djinn, marid, afrit, etc. or do they really exist?

5. Is the OP a different world or more of a different dimension?

6. How does food taste like to Bartimaeus? Does he really even have a sense of taste?(of course excluding things with rosemary and thyme and including humans) I feel like it was mentioned in the book and I know it doesn't seem very important but I just wanted to know. :spam:

7. Could the human mind overpower the djinn when it's in the body or not? What if it was like an imp or something? Could two different djinns be in one person? (yeah that's three questions but it ties in together...)

8. If a magician made like an uber tiny version of the original pentagram, would the djinn know the size or would he just hurt himself a lot by going in a form too large for the pentagram? If you could make small pentagrams, than couldn't the magicians have like "instant pentagrams" in which they are drawn on paper or something?

9. How far up does the pentagram extend? (if you did it outside would it go on and on?)

10. Does the material with which the pentagram is drawn with matter? What if you made a pentagram with pentagrams? Could you make a huge pentagram and let the djinn run amok?

 That's a lot of questions. Probably like 17 questions even though I only said ten. Yes. Be amazed by my counting skills of a first grader. I know you are a busy person and some of my questions are a bit long and ponder-able so I don't mind if it takes a while for you to reply. I'm satisfied as long as you reply at some point ^_^

Well, there is something I'd like to say. About question no.8, remember in Amulet of Samarkand, when Lovelace and co. created the giant pentacle for Ramuthra? That kind of implies that the greater the entity, the larger the pentacle, but i don't really know. And about the paper pentacle: a magician would have a hard time standing in one that size. I don't really think the magician's pentacle and the entities pentacle have to be the same size, though.

Well, I think that Lovelace's pentacle was big simply because he had to fit a lot of people in it, not because Rumuthra was really powerful... idk

3. Nat specifically summoned Barti into him.
10. In AoS, the room where Ramuthra is summoned is one big pentagram.
hi there
9. Yup, it most probably will keep extending
10. You can't really make a pentacle with a pentacle.
10. Yes, you can let the djinni run amok.
5. OP is a different world.
1. Yeah, Detonations, Flames, Sparks, Shields, Stenches, Noisome Winds, Fluxes, Infernos, Convulsions, Concealments are just a few.
