I read the original Bartimaeus Trilogy a few years ago and loved it, and when the prequel came out, I read it, and I had to go back and reread the first three books too :D
Well, anyways, I have a few questions...
1) Do djinn have a set gender, or do they get to decide what they want to be? Or R they sexless... like a tree?
2) How much does Bartimaeus really care about Nathaniel? I mean, in Ptolemy's Gate when Nathaniel tried to thank Kitty for saving him from the Golem, she told him that it was Bartimaeus that he should thank... So could it be that Bartimaeus actually wanted Kitty to save Nathaniel?
3) Does a djinni grow in power as he grows older? ... In the Ring of Solomon, Bartimeaus was a fourth level djinni, and in the Amulet of Samarkand, he was a fourteenth level djinni...
4) Can all demons use the same kind of magic... such as voids, glamours, pulses etc.?
5) Who is more powerful Faquarl or Barty?
6) Is Ureziel a demon/spirit? Or is he something more powerful than than... like maybe an angel or something?
7) Does Khaba love Ammet?
8) Is there a possibility that Natty could have survived? He's my favourite character, I know a lot of people dislike him, but he's cool even when he being a magician...
9) Whitwell had a afrit, and Mandrake was about as powerful as she was, so why didn't he have one???
10) How powerful is Natty? Could he beat Khaba?
11) How old was Natty in the last book?
12) Is Solomon Solomon's birth name?
13) Who's your favourite character?
14) Is the power of a magician related to his physical strength? I mean Jessica Whitwell's bone-thin, but remarkably powerful... By the way, she's a great character, but since she has the same name as me (first not last), I'm not sure I like her physical description...
15) Why was Farquarl so much more powerful than all of Nat's djinn together? Was it because being in a human body made him so?
16) What was Jabor? Was he maybe an afrit? I mean I used to assume that he was a djinni the first time I read Amulet, but then he's so much stronger than Barty...
17) How did Philocretes know Bart's name in Ring of Solomon? Had they met before?
