I have a few questions for ya, hope you can answer them!

1. Supposedly when essences are possessing a body they are safe, but wouldn't the small amount of iron in humans cause at least some discomfort?

2. Assuming that the rift opened near the end of AoS went back to the other place, wouldn't Jabor just have been sucked back into the other place and still be alive?

3. If Kitty or someone else had stayed in the other place long enough where their body would have died, would they have become trapped and become a part of the other place, thus becoming a demon? http://bartiforums.com/topic/6514206/

1. Hmm. Isn't there a scene in X-men when Magneto makes full use of the iron in his captor's blood? I suppose you're right in principle, but the actual amount of iron is not enough to outweigh the respite the spirits get from being encased within the human body. The sensation of their lack of (99% of) the usual pain is pleasurable indeed.
2. Jabor's essence is ripped apart because he's still tied to Earth by the terms of his summoning, but also being pulled inexorably into the Other Place. If Lovelace had died a little earlier so that the bonds of his summons were broken, he'd have been ok.
