I know, this isn't a question relating to the books per se, but I had to ask!

I know you're planning to tour in the UK and US, and it got me thinking...seeing as how The Ring of Solomon takes place in Israel, wouldn't it be fitting for you to do a little tour/signing in said country? I know you have a lot of Israeli fans [and I've been telling everyone here to read the books since I moved here three years ago], and we'd all appreciate the visit! The Bartimaeus Trilogy is my favorite series, and I would love love love the chance to be able to meet you.

Thanks very much for your message. Well, I'd LOVE to visit Israel to talk about Ring of Solomon and the other Bartimaeus books. There aren't any current plans afoot, but I'm always open to suggestions, and I hope there'll be an opportunity to visit you before very long.

Meanwhile I'll post up any news about future international tours and visits on my website, so keep an eye open for developments...
