Abhorsen trilogy?

Book Discussion
Hey, just wanted to know, is there anyone here who is a fellow fan of the Abhorsen trilogy? :leader: I love that series! :D I think it's really sad that the Dog died in the end, but I think it's an appropriate ending. Sad endings always make me feel totally awed. Not many authors can do heartbreaking endings. I don't have anything against happy endings, it's just that I really love endings with a lot of what-ifs. That exactly made me a huge fan of Barti series, btw.
i love those books!!!

I liked them enough to want to know what happend after and I went through them pretty quickly but actually I thought the books were kinda boring. I was kinda only interested in Mogget and then I liked Sam, didn't care much for Dog. Maybe you can tell me what To Hold the Bridge in the anthology is about?
man I loved this series! all three of them are sitting on my top shelf next to my Bartimaeus books. :) Chiz, do you mean the 'Across the wall' anthology? there's a short novella at the beginning which is set in the Old kingdom/Ancessleire(can't spell it) world. And the others are just short stories Nix has written for various things over the years, they each have an introduction explaining a little and a few of them are quite good. They range from very serious to hilarious, including a ridiculous choose your own adventure which is heaps of fun.
