A Tentative Hullo...

Introductions
I've had the account for a little bit and I've finally decided I should probably get around to using it, so here I am!

My first encounter with the Trilogy began back in middle school when I greedily ransacked the class bookshelf of all its literary glory. Suffice to say, I was hooked to the books from the start, though my reading the entire thing has been a bit spaced out (it's been, what, two years since I've last read The Amulet of Samarkand? Blasphemy, I know...).

I read, I write both fanfics and original pieces, I draw primarily in the manga style (my profile pic was self-made :D), I play the piano, I am an avid gamer, and I abuse my use of little smileys constantly. My little corner of the world in a nutshell I s'pose.

So there y'have it.........

Welcome!

Unfortunately you've come at a time when the forum is at low activity. For me it's cause of exams.

And I like your sig very much. One of my favourite books.
Welcome to Bartiforums!

Ah, thank you! *noms happily on cookies*

Yes I have read The Ring of Solomon and it was awesome! Currently I'm playing Fallout 3 Game of the Year (five expansion packs O_O) but I'm also a fan of Oblivion and Resistance: Fall of Man.

A fellow Canadian, eh! Lol. Yeah, midterms are coming up for my school, so a lot of people I know have disappeared from the internet on account of studying.

I actually read The Book Thief as part of English class, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. An all around excellent book - I think it's even won some awards.

Oh, and by the way, I absolutely love your profile pic ;)

Bartimaeus: It won't be the only mad thing about if you let this lot go. Check out that one at the end. He's taken the form of a footstool. Weird...but somehow I like his style.
Nathaniel: That is a footstool. No one's using that Pentacle.

This forum is full of epic Battlestar Galactica nerds. There have been times when several of us have been using Battlestar Galactica avatars, and the admins' area went through a phase of being entirely labelled in a BSG theme (CiC etc).
Welcome to the Colonial Fleet, nugget!

You can refer to Sentynel as O Mighty One.

Oh, okay, fine.
BTW, O Mighty One was a reference to Footstool. If I remember correctly, she called you that sometimes right?

I think I called him "O Ace One" to compensate for wearing a HP t-shirt while chatting on Bartiforums >.>
And that, as you know, was a reference to Bart in AoS. ^_^
