I haven't seen any barty sites around, so I was wondering if there's any chance there might be a site to go with this forum. IT'd be very cool to have one.

I am seriously considering this, the domain for Bartiforums.com expires in December, around that time when I renew it, I may upgrade the domain package which would allow sub-domains etc. and moreover a domain for a website.

the omnipeia could be powered by wiki - therefore allowing lots of people to edit/add information, i could set one up now, with no need for domain name etc

What in Flooping 'eck is this Barti Bible I keep hearing about?

i know jonathan stroud is making a new site, anyone know what's gonna be on it and what it's about? is it a barty site or a jonathan stroud site?

for the site to go to the forums: it would be a fan site. since there are no other barty fansites, i think it would be quite popular. we would have news on the movie, any books jonathan stroud is writing, questions he's answered, etc... we could have an encyclopedia section, or we could just link to the barty bible once the site is up. We could have graphics, favorite quotes, 50 ways to annoy Bartimeus, some interactive stuff(i dunno, maybe some games. I could try programming some, i'm trying to learn a bit more javascript)

btw, is there any chance i could be a staffer for the site if we do have one?

We sort of already have that stuff on the forum. Well, I know it'd look nicer as a real website, but meh. The forum is fine enough for me.

i don't know anything about flash, though, I'm sorry. But it would be cool to have a website, sort of as a fanbase, because some people who like the books are scared to go to forums because of stalkers or something like that.
