I haven't read any of the books either (though I really should, my mom has TONS), but I've seen most of the movies. I really like them (except Children of the Corn, WTF was that)so it looks like the plotlines atleast, were good.![]()

The adaptions don't do them justice.
As for the ones he's done, they'r ok, nothing world-changing.
The Stand (Uncut Original Edition) is my favorite, very closly followed by Insomnia.
