And Paul got right about the Germany-Uruaguay match too. A pity. Because people seem to be taking him seriously. I wanted him to be wrong there (and when Uruguay was leading 2-1, I thought he would). As I want Spain to win the finals.
Don't hate on the psychic octopus, dude!

Damn, why can't anyone come over here? Okay, individual players do come but only go to Kolkata. Where football equals god.
So go to Kolkata. =P

And Real Madrid always owns Toronto FC.

He has a better track record than any other crictic out there, it's not a coincidence, he either knows the future, or he's influencing the games with those creepy tentacles of his. Or maybe he's from the future, idk i'm so freaking stressed, I watch Spain games with ontd_football and those people really hype up the match, so much more than if i watch with non-believers, i get goosebumps..

yea..just going to leave this here

Um, don't fans of every sports team boo the opposing one?

Netherlands will defy the power of Paul!
Sure =p. Their Pauline was useless :P . And, in the end, Torres beat Villa.
The match was quite bad. They played badly (especially the free kicks. I would have volunteered to take them on their behalfs if I was in the stadium. I'm sure I would have got at least one in :P ) and played ugly too. (Especially Netherlands. The kick in the chest deserved a red card. Though some yellow cards were unnecessary.)
Yay, I at least got my final match wish right! Though it was some secondary wish.

About the Kolkata thing, it is easier said than done. Though it is in India, it is far away from Mumbai. And the players don't come often.
I'm going to become the PM of India and my first priority would be to invite all the greatest authors, sportspersons and academicians to my house. If they dare defy my order, I would send in people to kidnap them and would keep them hostages forever in my place.

=p. No, I admire the psychic octopus too. But not in the way some of them do.

The kick in the chest was hilarious. =P

And the bloody English ref has some issues.

And Villa sucked in this matched. And even though Torres set up the goal, he failed epically at the end when he was running for the ball and screwed his hamstring.

Haha. Yes. And I was talking about this match. I'm surprised they brought Torres in so late. Or might be, I'm not =p.

Oh sure, y'all can definitely come =D. I'll build a psychiatric hospital near my place. And I promise to take y'all there regularly. Being my friends, treatment for y'all will be free.

BUT, why did they just leave nando there for so long, presumably to die of his injuries? he was crying *tear tear* and he was very subdued during the plane ride and the celebrations after. Sergio Ramos was leading a drunken conga line, Iker was making out on international tv with his journalist gf and Nando was sitting in the cripple cornercripple corner with Xabi, catching up on the OC, good news is, he's probably so injured no one will want to buy him from Liverpool.

Oh and Rafa was there, looking like he'd fallen asleep on his tennis racket in the sun

xD! That is exactly how it looks like.

It was a bit unfair to bring Torres in so late. He was brought in only during the extra 30 minutes. What if the game hadn't ended in 90? They weren't even planning to let him play.
But, let's face it, he was playing badly.

Del Bosque would have put him in earlier if they had scored earlier, he was warming up for almost half the game. Also, he fully set up that goal and he's been injured for like the past two years. We should take a minute to remember the good times at liverpool

No, I haven't forgotten it. That is why I felt sad that he was brought in the end only.

Who do you think was the best goalkeeper in the tournament?
