I live in North Carolina, and I'm a pretty big nerd in all ways. Video games, comics, anime/manga, fantasy/science fiction novels(of course), music, you name it. I've played flute for three years and alto sax for three months in my school band. I used to write a lot of fanfiction, but there isn't much anymore. I first read Amulet and Golem's Eye when I was eight or nine or ten, but when Ptolemy's Gate came out, for some reason I couldn't find it at a bookstore so I just gave up and forgot about it until recently, and I just finished reading it for the first time about a week ago. I would totally go to see Makepeace plays, and I love run-on sentences. That's pretty much it.

	Jonathan Stroud 1. Queezle - Her name doesn't come from anywhere, I don't think. I just made it up! It was kind of meant to make her sound nice. I feel a bit sorry that I killed her off so fast; she is an interesting character. Falling in love is not at all the most stupid thing that people do — but gravitation cannot be held responsible for it.

What did you spend your day doing? I learnt CUDA C, an extension to C designed for scientific programming that allows one to perform massively parallel calculations on an nVIDIA GPU, and the PyCUDA Python interface to CUDA.
